Resolutions

For 2012:

1. Aintsobad will be given over to blogging on election issues this year, through the national elections in November and beyond. I now predict the reelection of our President, Mr. Obama, for whom I will pray daily.
2. My slogan (battle cry) for 2012 is, "Slow down and get more done." I have rushed through life. At 58, still clinging to existence, I have some things to do that are important to me. I intend to do less stuff so I can do more important things.
3. I will read all of the Bible this year, again.
4. I will read all of Shakespeare this year, again.
5. I will learn more of the Greek language.
6. I will work out each day.
7. I will learn more of the Spanish language.
8. I will eat a mostly soft diet, low-fat.
9. I will become a better sports official, whether I ever get to the court or field again, or not.
10. I will work on journals for the four oldest granchildren this year, completing them as I may.

I hope to:

1. Bring persons into our church.
2. Pay off all my financial debt.
3. See my youngest grandbaby very, very often.
4. Renew acquaintances with a friend from my ancient past and from my recent past.
5. Find out what the Mayans knew that is so important. I think they just ran out of clay one day.

I resolve to continue my personal journey clearing up as many of my past evils as I can. I resolve to continue my role as your moderator of religious life being there as needed and sometimes when not needed. More resolutions than that I get bored. I hope to see you many times this year sharing together as possible, my oldest friend.

The Mayans knew who would be the next ED of the TBC/BGCT thus they knew the world would end - or maybe they ate only soft, non-fat food. :-)
